Data Scientist (statistical analysis)

1. Data Analysis:

• Perform advanced data analysis on pharmaceutical datasets to extract actionable insights.

• Apply statistical methods to validate hypotheses and ensure data quality.

• Utilize SQL to query and preprocess data stored in Snowflake for analysis and modeling.

2. Data Visualization and Presentation:

• Create clear and compelling visualizations to communicate results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Present findings in a concise and impactful way to support business decisions.

3. Experiment Design and Insights:

• Develop methodologies for analyzing data and testing hypotheses.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and provide data-driven recommendations.

4. Model Development:

• Build and validate predictive models for tasks such as patient outcomes, drug efficacy, or operational optimization.

• Apply machine learning techniques to derive insights from structured and unstructured data.

5. Collaboration and Innovation:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver tailored solutions.

• Stay updated on the latest trends in data science and bring innovative ideas to the team.

• At least 3 years of experience in a Data Scientist role.

• Proficiency in Python and the ability to write clean, maintainable code.

• Strong skills in data analysis and statistical testing.

• Proven ability to visualize and present complex data effectively using tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, etc.

• Experience with standard machine learning techniques and tools.

• SQL skills and experience querying large datasets, preferably in Snowflake.

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

• Knowledge of mathematical statistics and its application to data analysis - prefered.

• Experience working in the pharmaceutical domain or on real-world datasets - prefered.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS (EC2, S3)- prefered.

• Understanding of Linux and command-line tools (bash, ssh)- prefered.

• Experience in collaborating with business stakeholders and presenting findings effectively- prefered.

• Knowledge of Snowflake for advanced data handling.

• Experience with Docker and basic CI/CD workflows.
