Data Engineer

We seek a skilled Data Engineer to develop innovative solutions within our complex data architecture framework. This role will work extensively with diverse structured and unstructured data sources—including internal systems and public APIs—to deliver actionable insights, support data-driven decision-making, and fuel our AI initiatives. The ideal candidate will be experienced in data analysis, ETL processes, and dashboard creation, with strong Python and SQL skills, and a proactive attitude towards learning new AI technologies.

Data Analysis & Transformation:

• Perform in-depth analysis of structured and unstructured data from various sources.
• Clean, validate, and transform raw data into usable formats for downstream applications.

ETL & Pipeline Development:

• Collaborate with developers to design and implement efficient data acquisition and transformation pipelines.
• Ensure data quality and consistency throughout the ETL process.

Dashboard & Reporting:

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights effectively.
• Translate complex data findings into clear business recommendations.

Data Storage & Architecture:

• Assist in designing and optimizing data storage structures to support scalable data processing.
• Evaluate and integrate new data sources and tools to improve the overall data ecosystem.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Participate in rigorous testing of data pipelines, dashboards, and AI models to ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot data issues and implement corrective measures.

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL processes, and managing complex data storage solutions
• Proven commercial experience building and deploying applications using Python and Apache Airflow
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
• Advanced proficiency in SQL
• Eagerness to learn and experiment with AI agents and integrate AI-based logic into data pipeline architecture
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and propose solutions in challenging situations.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience working with vector storages and graph databases
• Experience with cloud platforms
• Knowledge of efficient data file formats, such as Parquet and Avro, particularly for batch data processing in data lakes or warehouses, experience in using Apache Spark
• Experience with modern LLMand a willingness to integrate these tools into your work.
