Data Engineer

WaveAccess is looking for a Data Engineer from junior+ to senior level to join our team and contribute to innovative projects in the pharmaceutical domain. This role involves working with Snowflake and the AWS environment to process real-world pharmaceutical data and transform it for use by the Data Science (DS) and Business Intelligence (BI) teams.

• Engage in the design, development, and upkeep of data models, ETL, and data analysis systems.
• Collaborate with technical and data science team members to ensure business requirements are fulfilled.
• Automate processes using CI/CD.
• Establish data quality control systems.
• Ensure data confidentiality and security compliance.
• Explore new technologies and methodologies.

• Proficient in conversational English, B2 level.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a data engineer or in a similar role.
• Mastery of Python for data processing and pipeline development.
• Proficiency with AWS cloud services.
• Familiarity with SQL databases, encompassing design, queries, and optimization.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
