Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake + AWS) We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Snowflake, AWS, and Python, who can design and support reliable data systems for analytics and data-driven products. You will work closely with engineers, analysts, and data science teams to ensure high-quality, secure, and scalable data pipelines and models.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable data models and database structures in Snowflake to support analytics and reporting use cases
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines in Python, ensuring reliability, observability, and maintainability
  • Build and operate solutions in AWS (primarily S3, Glue, Lambda) for ingestion, transformation, and orchestration tasks
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for repeatable and controlled deployments
  • Translate business requirements into clear and usable data models for different stakeholders (analytics, product, business)
  • Ensure data quality, availability, and performance through monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization
  • Maintain data security standards, including access control and governance (AWS IAM, Snowflake security best practices)
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to establish and follow best practices in data engineering, operations, and documentation
  • Support incident resolution and performance tuning (Snowflake optimization, pipeline bottlenecks, cost awareness)

Requirements

Mandatory skills

  • English C1 (strong verbal communication)
  • Snowflake + SQL (data modeling, query optimization, performance tuning)
  • AWS Cloud experience including: S3, Glue, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM
  • Python (pipeline development, data processing, integrations)
  • Terraform (production-grade infrastructure management)

Other valuable skills (nice to have)

  • REST API integration (data ingestion and service-to-service communication)
  • Apache Airflow (workflow orchestration / scheduling)
  • CircleCI (CI/CD pipelines, automation)
  • JavaScript
